“He wants to leave the club” – Journalist on Arsenal’s target

Marcus Thuram, a striker for Borussia Monchengladbach, wants to leave his club this summer, according to a number of sources.

Arsenal and Manchester United, two of the best teams in the Premier League, were said to be interested in Thuram after Gladbach said that an offer of £8 million would be enough to get the France international player.

The 25-year-old is likely to leave this summer when he becomes a free agent, and a number of teams are ready to fight for his name. But the German team couldn’t make the most of their best weapon. Because of this news, there is a lot of competition between the teams that want to sign him.

Thuram has done a great job this season, with 14 goals and four assists in 25 games. The striker wants to move to a “bigger club” this summer, even though his team is stuck in 10th place in the Bundesliga and is about 15 points behind the top four teams.

Thuram will leave Gladbach and start playing for any team he wants.

Florian Plettenberg wrote for Sky Sports that Thuram “wants to leave Gladbach as a free agent in the summer.”

Even though Bayern Munich lost Robert Lewandowski to Barcelona in the summer of 2022, the story says they have no plans to sign Thuram.

Chelsea also lost interest in the player since they had already signed several attacking players in January.

Thuram could be a much cheaper option than Harry Kane, who is said to be the Red Devils’ top priority this summer as they look for a high-quality number nine. Erik ten Hag wants to find one of these people.

The club is expected to want more than 100 million pounds for Kane, and Tottenham’s manager, Daniel Levy, is expected to take a strong stand during talks for the England captain.

The Premier League winners are doing well enough right now that Thuram might be tempted to join them at the Emirates Stadium.

Mikel Arteta was looking for a quick replacement for Gabriel Jesus, who was hurt, so he was interested in Thuram during the winter deal season.

On the other hand, the Brazilian made his long-awaited comeback when Arsenal beat Fulham 3-0. Folarin Balogun is currently on loan, but he will be back at the end of the season. This gives Arteta a wide range of scoring choices.
