Dean Jones, a journalist, says that Arsenal does not want to add Youri Tielemans to their team right now.
Even though the Gunners have been interested in the Belgian for a while, they didn’t do much to get him in the last two deal seasons.
They seemed to be waiting for him to sign with them as a free agent, but it has recently come to light that they are not as interested in him as they were in 2021.
Jones says that even though Tielemans will be free to sign with another team in the summer, they might not go after him because they are focusing on other players like Moises Caicedo and Douglas Luiz.
“The player’s background has already been thoroughly checked, and there are good references about his personality and fit,” But they need to make a firm decision about whether or not he can improve their place in Europe, even as they talk about how to keep the team on the right track.
Even though the club will have to pay more for them, they will look elsewhere for replacements in the middle of the field.
