Christopher Nkunku signs Chelsea contract and will move to Stamford Bridge in the summer

Christopher Nkunku, a star player for RB Leipzig will join the Blues on July 1.
Even though Graham Potter’s team and Chelsea agreed on a transfer price of £53 million for the French star in December, there were fears that Nkunku might back out of his promise to move to Stamford Bridge if Chelsea didn’t finish in the top four.
Since Todd Boehly took over the club nine months ago, Chelsea has spent £600 million, but the team is still not good enough to get into the Champions League.
Nkunku moved to Leipzig in 2019 after leaving his home team, Paris Saint-Germain. While there, he became known as one of the most talented playmakers in Europe.
But Chelsea was able to sign Nkunku, even though PSG, Manchester United, and Liverpool were also interested.
Fabrizio Romano says that the player has signed his contract with Chelsea after passing the team’s medical at the end of 2022.
Nkunku will officially join the Chelsea team at the beginning of July, and Potter will hope that he can play a big role in the team’s new forward line.

Even though Christian Pulisic, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, and Hakim Ziyech will all be leaving the team, Chelsea will think a lot about making Joao Felix a regular player if the forward is available and the price is right.
Given that N’Golo Kante’s situation with the team isn’t clear, Potter wants to bring in another midfielder.
Since Romelu Lukaku is likely to leave Chelsea for good, a top centre forward is another of their top goals.
