Malouda tells Mount to reject offer from Premier League rivals

Florent Malouda, a former Chelsea striker, has convinced creative midfielder Mason Mount to sign a new contract and stay at Stamford Bridge and reject any offer from Liverpool.

There are reports that Liverpool is considering making a move to sign Mount during the summer transfer window to improve their middle.

Mount is likely to leave Chelsea at the end of this season because his managers and the west London club have stopped talking about a contract extension.

The star player for England at the World Cup has less than 18 months left on his contract with Chelsea. He has made it clear that he would rather stay at Stamford Bridge than join another team.

Malouda thinks that Mount should turn down the Reds and fight for his starting spot with Chelsea.

Malouda told DAZN Bet that Mason Mount should turn down the offer from Liverpool and stay at Chelsea.

Mount is like the club’s DNA in the way that he is dedicated to Chelsea Football Club. Given how much he has done since being moved up to the first team and how many games he has played for both club and country, it makes sense that his body needs time to rest and recharge.

But he shouldn’t think you have to give up just because you didn’t make the starting lineup. That is unfair to the other rivals. The same thing could happen to any other top team, not just Liverpool.
