Referee should have cancelled Arsenals goal against Fulham – Alan Shearer

Alan Shearer, a former star for Newcastle United, thinks that Arsenal’s first goal against Fulham may not have counted because Ben White got in the way of Bernd Leno.
On Sunday, Arsenal beat Fulham 3-0 at Craven Cottage to move back to the top of the Premier League rankings by five points.
Gabriel Magalhaes, Gabriel Martinelli, and Martin Odegaard all scored goals to help the team led by Mikel Arteta beat Fulham. Leandro Trossard set up the assists for all three of the goals.
Shearer, on the other hand, was sure that White had something to do with the first goal, which was scored by Gabriel, a defender after Trossard put a cross right in front of him.
Shearer told Premier League Productions what the former player said: “Ben White is actually blocking the goalkeeper, so it wouldn’t have surprised me [if it had been ruled out].”
By the time he unblocks him, it’s too late for the keeper to figure out if he’s going to approach or not.
“The ball is already in the air and is almost in the six-yard box,” the speaker said. It’s possible that he would have gone for it, but he couldn’t because there was a block in the way.

It’s a good throw-in, but Ben White is stopping him until the very end, so I wouldn’t have been upset if it had been called out.
Even so, nothing would have been different about what happened today because Arsenal was much better than they were.
