From what I’ve heard in the news, there didn’t seem to be much going on at Chelsea FC yesterday.
Since the team is starting to win again, less is said about the manager, and the summer deal window is still a long way off. Even so, there is always some kind of story going around.
The Athletic revealed the day before yesterday that Manchester City is interested in signing Chelsea left-back Ben.
It shouldn’t be a surprise that City is interested in Ben Chilwell. They wanted him before Chelsea bought him from Leicester, so it’s not surprising that they want him again.
Chilwell has a contract with Chelsea until 2025, so there is no immediate danger, and Chelsea still has the upper hand in this situation. But it’s a problem that they’ll probably have to solve soon, maybe by making a new deal.

Ben Chilwell was allegedly a goal for Manchester City as early as last year, but according to Romano, “Chelsea hasn’t made any decisions on fullbacks at this stage, and Chilwell is doing very well, so he’s 100% focused on Chelsea right now.”
