Chelsea confirms a Nigerian Hassan Sulaiman as their new head coach

Hassan Sulaiman, a football coach from Nigeria, has been chosen to lead Chelsea’s Under-18 team, according to a post on the club’s website. Chelsea is one of the best-off teams in the English Premier League.
After Ed Brand left, there was an open management position at Chelsea U18s, so the people in charge at Stamford Bridge looked within the group for a new coach.
Sulaiman has worked in a number of roles at Chelsea. Most recently, he was put in charge of the under-18 team.
The Nigerian is prepared to take over the Chelsea U18 team because he has a UEFA A License, which lets him be the head coach of young teams with players under the age of 18.
Sulaiman said in response to his nomination, “I am thrilled to take on this new role, and I am really looking forward to this chance.”
“I’d like to thank the senior team for believing in me and giving me the chance to help the Academy stay successful.
“My life’s work is to teach football players how to be better people as well as better football players. My ultimate goal is to help them reach their full potential.”
