A well-known Chelsea player has said that he wants to leave Stamford Bridge for the next season.
Romelu Lukaku, a striker for Chelsea, reportedly told reporter Simon Phillips that he does not want to play at Stamford Bridge again for the team next season. Phillips says that the 29-year-old athlete is currently on loan with Inter Milan. Both the player and the main club have said that they don’t want to try again.
Rudy Galetti, an Italian writer, told GIVEMESPORT that Chelsea will try to sell Romelu Lukaku right away if he moves back to west London in the summer.
According to BBC Sport, Chelsea paid Inter ÂŁ97.5 million to sign the Belgian star in 2021, but he found it hard to fit in at Stamford Bridge during his second stint there.
Transfermarkt says that he only scored eight goals in 26 Premier League games before going back on loan to the Nerazzurri. Salary Sport has calculated that Lukaku’s deal with Chelsea is worth £350,000 per week at the moment.

Philips says that Lukaku does not want to go back to Chelsea right now.

After all, this might not be the worst idea ever. Lukaku is without a doubt one of the best players in the world when he is at his best, and Chelsea needs a new centre forward badly.

This season, Graham Potter’s team has only put the ball in the back of the net 24 times in the Premier League. They could use some more power.
Romelu Lukaku’s time at Chelsea the year before did not go well, but there is no guarantee that he will have the same level of success in the future. But if the team had a different leader, fans might see a different player. And from the Blues’ point of view, it could save them from having to spend a lot of money on another striker in the next transfer window.
