Chelsea plans to resign former striker Tammy Abraham next summer

Chelsea wants to resign Tammy Abraham
This season, Chelsea has had a lot of trouble in the team’s attack, which has shown how badly the team needs a goal scorer. The Blues have scored the fewest goals out of the 11 best teams in the Premier League. They have scored two or more goals in only seven of their games.
Since the World Cup, Chelsea has played thirteen games and scored seven goals. Graham Potter’s front line needed more talent, and Joao Felix’s temporary move from Atlético Madrid has given them that. However, the Portuguese forward has only scored once in five games since the move.
Kai Havertz is often asked by Chelsea to play in the middle of their front three. Even though he won the UEFA Champions League final in 2021, the German has been harshly criticised for his recent performances and hasn’t been able to build on his reputation.
During the summer, the Blues will focus on improving their offensive options as they try to get back to the top of English football. Christopher Nkunku, RB Leipzig’s best forward, is said to have already signed a pre-contract with a club in west London. However, that hasn’t stopped other forwards from being linked with a move to the area.
Victor Osimhen has scored 19 goals in 21 Serie A games for Napoli, making him the most-wanted striker in all of European sports. People think that Chelsea might try to sign the Nigerian, but Manchester United and Arsenal are also interested in him, so the Blues will have to work hard to get him.
Tammy Abraham might be given the chance to go back to Stamford Bridge, and Todd Boehly might be asked to help out somewhere else. The Athletic says that Chelsea is still very interested in the striker for AS Roma and that Chelsea has a buy-back clause in his contract that will go into effect this summer for 70.8 million pounds. This backup plan was set up by Marina Granovskaia.
A big sum was paid for a striker who has only scored seven goals in all competitions this season. Even so, Abraham was one of Europe’s best goal-scorers the year before. He scored 27 goals and helped Roma win the UEFA Conference League.

Even though the move cost Roma £36 million and happened because Thomas Tuchel didn’t like Tammy Abraham as a striker, Abraham answered all of his critics at the Stadio Olimpico in a strong way. Abraham was left off of Gareth Southgate’s World Cup team, which was a shame.
Abraham moved up in Chelsea’s development programme, and when he was on loan at Bristol City and Aston Villa, he made a big difference. Between 2019 and 2021, he started 82 games and scored 30 goals for the team. Before he left the team, the England player had already helped the team that won the Champions League.
It’s possible that Chelsea will seriously think about sending Abraham back to Cobham. They don’t seem to be the only ones interested in him, though. According to a story in The Athletic, agents from Manchester United have been going to Italy often to watch him play.
But starting in July, Chelsea will have first choice, and Roma will have to let Chelsea know if another buyer makes an offer that matches the buy-back clause. Abraham has less than half the season left to win over Boehly and make a good case for coming back.
