Todd Boehly worries about Neymar’s move as Chelsea gets a big boost in the Champions League

The fact that the Brazilian star won’t be able to play for the rest of the season has Chelsea’s top management thinking about a possible move in the summer.
Neymar, a forward for Paris Saint-Germain, won’t be able to play for the rest of the season because he needs surgery to repair a tendon in his foot. After the surgery, which will happen in the next few days, the Brazilian won’t be able to play for at least three months.
Neymar hasn’t played for PSG in the last two games. After getting hurt in the team’s 4-3 win over Lille in the middle of February, he had to be taken off the field on a gurney. PSG said in a statement that Neymar Jr.’s right foot has been stiff several times over the past few years.
After his most recent injury on February 20, the medical staff at Paris Saint-Germain said that he should have a tendon replacement surgery to make it less likely that he will get hurt again.
This surgery is scheduled to happen at the ASPETAR Hospital in Doha in the next few days. It’s likely that he won’t be able to train with the team for at least three to four months.
Todd Boehly and the Chelsea board of directors reportedly thought the 31-year-old would be a great player to buy, so this news is sure to make them sad. Neymar would be a very appealing choice for business owners who want to boost sales and business. This season in Ligue 1, he has 13 goals and 11 assists, making him one of the best players in the world. Neymar is up there with Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe as one of the best athletes in the world.
If Chelsea decides to take this possible action this summer, the latest injury could slow things down because he could be suspended until the middle of July. L’Equipe says that Neymar, who won a gold medal at the Olympics, has no plans to leave Paris Saint-Germain, even though he is often said to want to do so. This is especially true given that Messi and Mbappe’s futures with their teams are not clear.
Le Parisien was the first to say that Boehly had come to Paris to discuss a deal for Neymar with PSG. But Foot Mercato said that Boehly had “taken matters into his own hands” after talking to Neymar’s representatives. Even though it could make it harder for the player to move to another team in the future, the injury could help Chelsea’s chances in the Champions League right now.

Since Neymar won’t be playing for the Blues, it would be much easier for them to advance if they could come back from being down by one goal against Borussia Dortmund in the round of 16. He was expected to be available for PSG’s match against Bayern Munich on Wednesday, in which the French team must also come back from a 1-0 deficit.
But now that they don’t have Neymar, their job is harder, which might make it easier for German club to get to the semifinals.
