“He was the best Chelsea coach, he doesn’t shout at players” – Mikel Obi

Carlo Ancelotti is credited with showing former Chelsea midfielder John Obi Mikel the best way to “manage” people during his time with the Blues.

Mikel said that Real Madrid’s current manager, Carlo Ancelotti, is very calm and doesn’t yell at the players.

The former Super Eagles captain said that every Chelsea player was looking forward to training with the Italian.

Mikel talked to Dubai Eye 103.8 about the situation and said, “We liked training under Carlo Ancelotti.” I don’t think anyone else at Chelsea could have managed people as well as he could.

Once he got there, we played a quick game called “five-a-side” and then ran around the track for a short distance. When he talks to the athletes, he has an air of calm control that makes them feel the same way.

Mikel said, “He doesn’t yell at you or raise his voice at the players.” He does a good job of making it clear how important what he’s saying is. Other managers, like Mourinho, may yell at you if you aren’t doing your job right. Mourinho is a very different kind of manager than those others.
