Arsenal and FA launches investigation after what fans did to De Bruyne

Kevin De Bruyne was hurt by things thrown from the crowd after Manchester City won 3-1 at the Emirates. Arsenal has started looking into what happened as a response.
After getting pulled off during the second half of a Premier League game between two teams tied for first place, De Bruyne had to make his way across the field while dodging many objects thrown from the stands.
The playmaker, who scored a goal and set up another one in City’s 3-1 win, made fun of the incident on Instagram after the game. But both Arsenal and the Football Association (FA) are now looking into what really happened.
In a public statement, the north London club said that if anyone was found to have thrown something at the 31-year-old, they would punish them harshly.
“We are looking at CCTV, and if we can figure out who did it, they will get a lot of trouble,” said part of the statement. This can’t be put up with under any circumstances; it can’t be allowed.

The FA, on the other hand, is looking into the incident on its own, and they could decide to fine Arsenal fans because of what they did.
The Premier League game between Mikel Arteta’s team and Aston Villa on Saturday will be a chance for both teams to get back on track.
