Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard speaks out on what Cristiano Ronaldo did to him

Martin Odegaard, the captain of Arsenal, said recently that former Manchester United striker Cristiano Ronaldo was one of three players who helped him adjust to life at Real Madrid.
Odegaard, who played with Ronaldo when they were both at Real Madrid, says that at that time, Ronaldo looked out for him.
When he signed with Real Madrid for three million pounds in January 2015, he was the most wanted player in all of European football.
When the midfielder moved to Madrid, he was only 16 years old and didn’t know any Spanish. He was lucky that some players, like Toni Kroos, Luka Modric, and Cristiano Ronaldo, could speak English with him.
In an interview with The Players’ Tribune, the 24-year-old athlete said, “When I walk into their locker room, all I can think about is how these guys will treat me.” This little kid didn’t know any Spanish at all.
