Arsenal wants to extend the contract of their Kylian Mbappe

Kylian Mbappe of Paris Saint-Germain has been one of the best players in the league this season, and one Arsenal player is now on the same level as the France international in one important way.
At the beginning of the 2022–2023 season, the young player had a big impact on Arsenal’s early push for the title, and Bukayo Saka was a big part of that. He was picked to play for England in the 2022 World Cup and was used as a starter, which shows how valuable he is to the team.
At the end of last season, the Englishman was seen as one of the club’s most valuable assets, and his strong numbers this year have shown how important he is to the team. So far this season, the winger’s offensive drive has been about the same as Kylian Mbappe’s.
So far this season, Saka has 98 forward carries in the league. He is tied for third place with Mbappe, and his total is the third-highest of any player in Europe’s top five leagues. Vinicius Jr. is at the top of the list with 126 progressive carries, which is more than any other player in the top five leagues in Europe.
Arsenal is doing everything it can to get Saka to sign a new, long-term deal with the club. Even though talks about a new deal are going well, the Gunners have used a one-year extension option that was in his contract. This means that he will stay with the club until at least 2024.
Saka became the second-youngest player to make 100 Premier League appearances when Arsenal beat Bournemouth 3-0 in August. Cesc Fabregas, who did it a year before anyone else, is still the youngest player to reach this point.

The player from the academy is also in the top five for most appearances for Arsenal before turning 20. He has more appearances than Arsenal greats David Rocastle and Liam Brady. Mikel Arteta, who took over as manager of the team in 2019, has talked about how important the academy graduate is to the club.
Saka is one of the most dangerous wingers in the Premier League. This is clear from the fact that he has the same great attacking potential as Mbappe. So far this year, Saka has scored seven goals in seven games. If he keeps scoring goals at the same rate and matches Mbappe’s numbers, it seems likely that he will score more goals in the near future.
