Chelsea winger have been told to leave Stamford bridge after poor performance

Former Chelsea player and coach Ruud Gullit has suggested that Moroccan winger Hakim Ziyech join Barcelona. Gullit thinks that the World Cup star would be the best player for Barcelona to sign.

After moving to Chelsea from Ajax for £34 million in 2020, the 29-year-old Moroccan international has had trouble becoming a regular starter for the team.

During his time with the Blues, he won three trophies. Two of them are the Champions League and the Club World Cup.

In all competitions, he has only started five games for the Blues this season. Graham Potter has been the Blues’ coach.

When new players like Joao Felix and Mykhailo Mudryk have fully joined the Blues, Morocco’s standing will fall even more. The winger should keep playing for Barcelona, Gullit told Ziggo Sport.

I’ve never seen Ziyech play for Morocco because he plays so differently there than he does for Chelsea.

I wonder… Spain is where I think he really starts to shine. In England, he never seemed to have gotten good enough to compete with Ajax, in my opinion. It would be great if we could get together in Spain sometime soon. There, he can do the best work he is capable of. He would also be a great player for Barcelona.
