PSG to sign Mohamed Salah as Neymar’s replacement

It is possible that Neymar will leave PSG in the summer of 2023. Nasser Al. Khelafi thinks Mohamed Salah would be the best person to take over Neymar’s position.

Rivaldo, a former star of the Brazilian national team, said in a recent interview with the Betfair website that Neymar might leave Paris Saint-Germain to join Manchester City and play for Pep Guardiola. PSG might want to sell the player at the end of the season so that they can get back some of the money they spent on him.

In the future, the Brazilian superstar could also play in the Premier League. Rivaldo says that Manchester City would be the best club for him in this situation because it would increase his chances of success and put him on an offensive team that was doing well under the club’s previous manager, Pep Guardiola.

Nasser Al-Khelafi would already be working behind the scenes to get a player with the same level of athleticism to join Paris SG’s attack. Al-Khelafi is not necessarily against the Brazil star leaving the team. All signs point to Mohamed Salah being the lucky winner as he could be signed by PSG.

Nasser Al-Khelafi and Mohamed Salah talk

If Neymar decides to leave Paris Saint-Germain at the end of this season, the club’s president seems to have already picked Mohamed Salah as a possible replacement for Neymar in the French club. Even though he is still under contract with Liverpool until June 2025, the Egyptian international player is starting to have doubts about his future with the club.

The former Chelsea and AS Roma winger might be swayed by the promise of a thrilling new challenge, but if Mohamed Salah becomes available, the leaders of Paris would rather start transfer talks with Liverpool in the coming months. A photo that has been shared on many social networking sites shows that Nasser Al-Khelafi was just recently seen wearing Liverpool’s number 11 in public at a restaurant.

The 30-year-old striker will be hard for the Reds to replace, though, because his manager, Jürgen Klopp, would have to be persuaded to let him go after Sadio Mané left the team last summer. The website Transfermarkt says that Mohamed Salah’s possible move could cost up to €80 million.
