Rumours: Madrid linked Mbappe to leave PSG during the January transfer window

Even though there have been many rumours to the contrary, Kylian Mbappé will not be leaving Paris Saint-Germain this winter to look into a move to another club.
“I haven’t been asked to move out of Paris Saint-Germain in the month of January. I’m not angry with the club, me leaving is not true, and neither am I.” the French soccer player brought it up to RMC Sport after their win against Marseille on Sunday according to Fabrizio Romano.
Mario Cortegana of Marca says that Mbappé and PSG’s relationship is “broken,” and that the player will want to leave the team in January. Get Spanish Football News was the first place where the information came from.
Julien Laurens of ESPN says that Mbappé “feels deceived by the club and has had enough,” which backs up what was already said.
Reports say that Mbappé thinks that the president, Nasser Al-Khelaifi, the manager, Christophe Galtier, and the sports director, Luis Campos, have not kept the promises they made in Laurens’ report. People who are close to Mbappe say that he made a mistake when he signed a new deal to stay at the club in May.
Mbappé extended his contract with PSG by three years in May, after months of rumours that he would sign with Real Madrid of La Liga. Adam White of Get French football news says that the 23-year-old was given a signing bonus of €100 million and a salary of €50 million when he joined the club (via the Guardian).
Also, people thought that Mbappé would have a lot of say in how the club made decisions. But it looks like he isn’t getting what he wants, which is probably why he seems to be unhappy.
According to rumours, one of Mbappé’s demands was that the team should sell the superstar player from Brazil, Neymar. Also, he was told that they would sign a very good defender to strengthen the team.

Even though PSG tried very hard to get Milan Skriniar from Inter Milan before the season started, they were unable to do so, and Neymar has decided to stay with the team.
Galtier, the PSG coach, said that Neymar and Mbappé have a “very good” relationship, despite rumours that it had broken down.
Since Mbappé denied the rumours, it seems likely that he will keep his promise to play for the team for the time being. He has a deal that makes him stay in Paris until 2025.
