Sources told the UK Mirror that Pep Guardiola turned down the chance to lead the Brazil national team. Guardiola is the manager of Manchester City.
When Tite quit as Brazil’s head coach after the 2022 World Cup, the 51-year-old candidate got offered the job.
Guardiola’s work with Barcelona, Bayern Munich, and Manchester City has made him one of the best football managers in history, even though he has never been in charge of a national team.
Ronaldo De Lima, a great Brazilian striker, talked to Guardiola’s agent, Pere, about the possibility of the Spaniard taking the open job.

Guardiola said no to Ronaldo’s request because he wants to stay at The Etihad for at least another two years. Guardiola’s contract with City was extended in November, making him stay with the Premier League winner until 2024.
