Nico Gonzalez, a Spanish star who came up through La Masia, was one of the players who was traded for a big loss during the transfer window. Franck Kessié took over for the 20-year-old midfielder, who was a future keeper, at the end of the season. Sport says that FC Barcelona and FC Valencia have reached a deal for Nico Gonzalez to play for them on loan. The Spanish prospect, who is also being watched by Manchester City and OM, should extend his contract with FC Barcelona before going on loan to Valencia.
Blaugrana won’t add a buy option to Nico Gonzalez’s loan contract because Xavi will need him in the coming years. The Spanish coach wants him to learn from this season so that he can be a better player when he goes back to Barça.
