After that, the club can use the money gained from the selling of these players to sign new players which is exactly what Xavi had in mind. Barca has been having a close look at the Brazilian player Domilson Cordeiro dos Santos popularly known as Dodo. It has been said by fans of Brazil that the defender who plays for FC Shakhtar Donetsk is similar to Dani Alves.
Dodo and Dani Alves display similar qualities on the pitch. During last year’s January window Dodo was on Real Madrid and PSG’s list. But currently, the Spanish club is the only one bidding for the player. A price of 25,000,000 euros is set by the Brazillian’s current club Shakhtar Donetsk and Barca will have to pay that if they’re serious about signing the player.
Dodo to replace Sergino Dest
The American International Sergino Desta struggled during his time at Barcelona, and as a result, Xavi decided to bench him. Dest has played a supporting defender role for Barcelona since the month of January 2022. Dest could exit this summer due to his situation at the club. In addition to this, FC Barcelona has set a price tag for the player which is worth 30 million euros. As a consequence of this, the funds that could be obtained from Dest’s sale ought to be adequate to cover the cost of Dodo.
