Real Madrid’s key player contract extended, while others could leave

According to what was disclosed on Tuesday, a major key player on the squad will have the opportunity to continue serving as a member of Real Madrid until next year’s summer.
Luka Modric has extended his stay at Bernabeu
Luka Modric, the Croatian International who is 36 years old, has decided to extend his contract with Real Madrid for one more year, which will run until next year’s summer June 2023. The Croatian International can impress Madrid fans with his abilities for at least another year.
Luka Modric made his move to Real Madrid in the summer of 2012 for a total of €35 million, which included a €7 million signing bonus. Since then, he’s pretty much forced himself onto Madrid by performing at his peak. While playing for Real Madrid, he has won numerous titles such as three Spanish championships in addition to five Champions Leagues and three European Super Cups.

The club made a press release to inform members and the general public about the renewal of the player’s contract. The player’s current deal has been extended by Real Madrid until the 30th of June in 2023, according to the agreement reached between the two parties. Real Madrid will also be receiving Aurélien Chouameni from Monaco, so this is very encouraging news for the fans.
The transfer window has gotten off to a strong beginning for Real Madrid
Since Kylian Mbappe rejected Madrid’s offer, things have been going swimmingly for the Spanish club. Real Madrid is very active in the transfer market this summer, and as a result, the club has been able to acquire talented players like Chelsea’s Antonio Ruediger and Monaco’s Aurelien Chuameni while offloading less desirable players like Marcelo, Gareth Bale, and so on.
Luka Modric will continue to play in the middle position despite Real Madrid’s leadership having a great deal of success during this transfer window. Also, the president of Real Madrid Perez doesn’t seem concerned about the possibility that some of his other key players could leave the club this summer.
However, Madrid has not been able to find a player to replace Kylian Mbappe just yet. Real Madrid, on the other hand, attempted to make a deal for Rafael Leo who plays for Serie A club AC Milan, as well as Mancity’s striker Gabriel Jesus. Milan is adamant about extending the contract of their player Rafael Leo, and Arsenal appears to be involved in Gabriel Jesus’s transfer which could affect Madrid, this could mean Madrid isn’t yet over with their summer window transfer as they’ll have to fill out that spot.
