The Athletic, a British newspaper, stated on Monday that Chelsea’s management was still interested in Ashraf Hakimi. Chelsea would not turn down their interest in the 23-year-old right-back after the failure last summer. The London club faces a nearly difficult task, as Ashraf Hakimi is one of the Parisian SG’s untouchables.
Hakimi’s agent breaks the silence about his future
Ashraf Hakimi, who joined Paris Saint-Germain in July for about €70 million-plus bonuses from Inter Milan, is still a long way from leaving the club. The Moroccan footballer, who previously trained at Real Madrid, “is a PSG player, he is delighted,” according to his contract, which runs through June 2026. “We have four more years on the deal, he is young and wants to flourish here,” his agent Alejandro Camagno recently stated on Argentina’s Colonia radio station.
Furthermore, thanks to the extension of his good friend Kylian Mbappe’s contract for another three seasons, until June 2025, Hakimi is not required to leave Paris SG this summer. So, after a failed attempt last summer, Chelsea might face a second failure with the Madrid native. As is the case with Marquinhos, Prenel Kimpembe, and Marco Verratti, the Italian midfielder.
