Marquinhos – After Mbappe’s contract, PSG records another big signing

Marquinhos Contract Extension – Despite Kylian Mbappe’s contract extension being finalized over the weekend, the Parisian SG’s movement should pick up in the coming days.

Marquinhos is on track to extend his contract with Paris SG

Marquinhos is the real boss of Paris Saint-Germain, having moved from Roma in July 2013 for a fee of just over 31 million euros. Since the departure of his compatriot Thiago Silva two years ago, the 28-year-old centre-back has been captain of the Paris team and has never hidden his affection for the capital club and his life in France.

The Brazilian footballer should soon renew his involvement with PSG, as he has a contract until June 2024 and is willing to stay until the end of his career. According to UOL Esporte on Tuesday, negotiations between Parisian leaders and representatives of the Brazilian native are nearly complete, and an agreement could be announced soon. Marquinhos has the option to renew his lease for another three years, until June 2027.

“For several days, Marquinhos has been in talks with PSG to extend his contract until June 2027. Despite the behind-the-scenes changes at the French club, including Leonardo’s departure and the likely arrival of Luis Campos, the defender is hopeful of signing a new contract. “Until the start of next season,” explains the Brazilian source, who adds that the upcoming changes at Paris SG will have no impact on the desire to keep him at the club. His extension could even be included in Nasser Al Khelaifi’s announcements.

PSG Transfer News – Al-Khelaifi will make major Paris Saint-German announcements next week

While Kylian Mbappe’s contract was finally signed over the weekend, things at Paris Saint-Germain will move more quickly. Paris President Nasser Al-Khelaifi announced the main announcements for next week on Canal+ in front of Olivier Tallaron’s.

“I believe I will announce all of the changes, the entire project, all of the changes, next week.” We won’t discuss it today (yesterday). We currently have Mauricio Pochettino, who we respect. Will he continue to play for PSG next season? In comments shared with RMC Sport, the Qatari businessman said, “You’ll find out next week.” Thus, following Kylian Mbappe, Marquinhos could be extended next week.
