The Brazilian footballer should soon renew his involvement with PSG, as he has a contract until June 2024 and is willing to stay until the end of his career. According to UOL Esporte on Tuesday, negotiations between Parisian leaders and representatives of the Brazilian native are nearly complete, and an agreement could be announced soon. Marquinhos has the option to renew his lease for another three years, until June 2027.
“For several days, Marquinhos has been in talks with PSG to extend his contract until June 2027. Despite the behind-the-scenes changes at the French club, including Leonardo’s departure and the likely arrival of Luis Campos, the defender is hopeful of signing a new contract. “Until the start of next season,” explains the Brazilian source, who adds that the upcoming changes at Paris SG will have no impact on the desire to keep him at the club. His extension could even be included in Nasser Al Khelaifi’s announcements.
