The German manager was optimistic about the recovery of both players before the match on May 28 after becoming champions at the end of the match against Chelsea, and those good feelings were confirmed this Monday.

Klopp has confirmed that Salah and Van Dijk will not play in Tuesday’s Premier League match against Southampton, but they will be available for the Champions League final(UCL Final). Even Klopp is hopeful that both players will be fit to face Wolverhampton Wanderers on the final day of the Premier League season, and that they will be ready to face Real Madrid in Paris.

According to Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp, Van Dijk will not play against Southampton. “Not. Virgil isn’t, but that was obvious before Chelsea. He had a lot of playing time this season and needed to rest. It was obvious.”

UCL Final – “They’re both fine.” The goal is for both of them to be able to join the team for the weekend—a good start from the beginning, and a good start from the bench. I’m not sure, we’ll see, but it would be perfect for the ending. They will, without a doubt, be in the final. I’m sure”.
